Description
“Teso La Monja Almirez 2016 has open, dark plum and red currant fruit and hints of cranberry leaf on the nose, the oak is nicely integrated and plays a complementary rather than a dominant role. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, crisp acidity and a fresh yet succulent finish. It tightens towards the finish, but another two or three years in the bottle should allow it to unfurl and mellow. A delightful vintage.
