Sierra Cantabria Rioja Seleccion is ruby red with lighter violet shades at the edge of the glass. Raspberry and blackberry fruit on the nose, with coffee, toast and vanilla notes adding intensity. The palate is well structured with a pleasing balance of tannin, alcohol and acidity. The fruit is in harmony with the characteristics of a brief period oak ageing, manifesting itself in the form of spice, toasted coffee and woody notes. The finish is fruity and gently toasty.
